Mercedes Benz GLK350 Review

Mercedes Benz GLK350 Mercedes Benz GLK350 Picture Mercedes Benz GLK350 InteriorWhat a difference a decade.
seriously 10 years ago, Mercedes-Benz affect his image with the introduction of what was then a small SUV ML320 .. the. It cost somewhere in the middle of the 30s, they take in a new market segment, but was an important step in what people expect from Mercedes in materials and workmanship.
An even smaller SUV should be more reason to despair, is not it? No, not now.
You see, Mercedes as a whole has followed the law of the ML320 garden path ... leading to a decade-Benz less than all of the specific model names ... even some whose prices are surprisingly high.
The good news is that MB appears in the bite with some products that seem to draw his bar to higher market share ... It is in this environment, GLK350 force.
Size? Think somewhere between a Ford Escape and Ford Explorer.
Price? The base is a reasonable price of $ 35,900. For that you get power to a 268 V6 with a seven-speed automatic transmission, leading to EPA, about 16 miles per gallon city/21 highway.
Best of all, it feels firmer than the LMA has never ... and if at 10 high-quality options (premium light package, Media package, Sport Appearance Package) does not seem too stupid or too much because, well, it's a Mercedes loaded. Must be a notch above other things.
to pay for years, people a premium for Mercedes-Benz quality and technology, is not the board itself. When the days are back, we are all better off.

UPDATE:

This applies to all-wheel drive GLK. Select the model of two-wheel-drive, and the base price is $ 34.600 reduced ... making it one of the cheapest Benz you can buy. And because the ML 320 1998 $ 33.900, is incredible. Fuel consumption remains unchanged in the city, but improved to 22 on the road.

A recent campaign in the two-wheel-drive model strengthens the previous revision to all four wheels. And this time, Mercedes was only about 8,000 in options (premium multimedia package and the iPod interface) ... so under the dash for $ 875 shipping and handling was $ 42.925.

Used car vs new car prices

Used car vs new car prices Lott argues that it is only a common myth that a new car loses 15% - 25% of its value when it first leaves the lot.
Used car vs new car prices He backs up this argument through analysis of new and certified used car prices using manufacturer MSRP; Kelley Blue Book New, Used,Excellent Condition Trade-in, and Private Party prices; and Yahoo! Auto Certified Used prices for 55 certified used cars (15 with less than 5,000 miles and 40 with about 15,000 miles).
Used car vs new car prices Lott demonstrates that the cars with 15,000 miles on them (about a year's worth of driving) are substantially less valuable than the relatively new cars with less than 5,000 miles.
Used car vs new car prices A few of the cars with less than 5,000 miles were actually worth more than MSRP.

Mercedes Benz

Mercedes-Benz (German pronunciation: [mɛʁˈtseːdəs ˈbɛnts]) is a German manufacturer of automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. It is currently a division of its parent company, Daimler AG (formerly DaimlerChrysler AG), after previously being owned by Daimler-Benz. Mercedes-Benz has its origins in Karl Benz's creation of the first petrol-powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, patented in January 1886,[1] and by Gottlieb Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach's conversion of a stagecoach by the addition of a petrol engine later that year. The Mercedes automobile was first marketed in 1901 by Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicles were produced in 1926, following the merger of Karl Benz's and Gottlieb Daimler's companies into the Daimler-Benz company. Mercedes-Benz has introduced many technological and safety innovations that have become common in other vehicles several years later. Mercedes-Benz is one of the most well-known and established automotive brands in the world, and is also the world's oldest automotive brand still in existence today.
In 1958, Mercedes-Benz entered into a distribution agreement with the Studebaker-Packard Corporation of South Bend, Indiana (USA), makers of Studebaker and Packard brand automobiles. Under the deal, Studebaker would allow Mercedes-Benz access to its dealer network in the U.S., handle shipments of vehicles to the dealers, and in return, receive compensation for each car sold. Studebaker also was permitted to use the German automaker's name in its advertisements, which stressed Studebaker's quality over quantity."citation needed"
When Studebaker entered into informal discussions with Franco-American automaker Facel Vega about offering Facel Vega Excellence model in the United States, Mercedes-Benz objected to the proposal. Studebaker, which needed Mercedes-Benz distribution payments to help stem heavy losses, dropped further action on the plan."citation needed"
Mercedes-Benz maintained an office within the Studebaker works in South Bend from 1958 to 1963, when Studebaker's U.S. operations ceased. Many U.S Studebaker dealers converted to Mercedes-Benz dealerships at that time. When Studebaker closed its Canadian operation and left the automobile business in 1966, remaining Studebaker dealers had the option to convert their dealerships to Mercedes-Benz dealership agreements.

Mercedes Benz CLK GTR

Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR is a grand tourer and race car that was built by Mercedes-AMG, performance and motorsports arm of Mercedes-Benz. Intended for racing in the new FIA GT Championship series in 1997, the CLK GTR was designed primarily as a race car, with the road cars necessary in order to meet homologation standards being secondary in the car's design. Thus the limited production road-going cars were considered racing cars for the road.
After competing successfully in 1997, the race car was upgraded in 1998 for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and renamed the CLK LM. Following the construction of the CLK LMs and the CLK GTR road cars, the project would end in 1999 by being replaced by the Mercedes-Benz CLR Le Mans prototype.

Mercedes Benz Concept FASCINATION

The Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION is a concept car created in Germany by Mercedes-Benz. It was revealed to the public on September 11, 2008, and appeared at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The shooting-brake-style concept has been designed as a preview for the next-generation (W212) Mercedes E-Class, and will likely never make production.
Precursive Design Elements In German car-design circles, the term 'Fascination' is used to describe a 'new direction', with various elements such as the nose and profile likely to appear on the next-generation E-Class, to be revealed at the 2009 Geneva motor show, and its derivatives, including the CLS 4-door coupé. Mercedes-Benz director Dr Thomas Weber, responsible for research and development said, "The show car not only demonstrates a fascinating, new design idiom, but - with our new, high-performance and economical diesel drive system using BlueTEC technology - shows that Mercedes-Benz vehicles will also set standards in the future in terms of sustainability as well as emotional appeal, driving pleasure and comfort.
Specifications The ConceptFASCINATION is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder BlueTec turbo-diesel engine, with emissions-cutting AdBlue technology. The engine develops 152kW of power and 500Nm of torque, and is combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This powertrain is likely to make production in various Mercedes-Benz models by 2010. Detailed information regarding the ConceptFASCINATION will be revealed at the Paris motor show in October 2008.

Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is an Anglo-German supercar jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive, built in Portsmouth and the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, England. At the time Mercedes-Benz owned 40 percent of the McLaren Group.
Due to the presence of the automatic gear box, front mid-engined arrangement, and its driving characteristics, some commentators classify the SLR McLaren as a GT whose rivals would be vehicles like the Aston Martin DBS V12 and Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing). Mercedes-Benz stated that they would build 3,500 SLRs over a span of seven years, with an annual production of 500 cars.[1] The car's base price, GB£295,337 (approx. US$450,000 or €351,269 c. 2009), made it the ninth expensive street legal car in the year 2008.
