Mahindra, the Indian utility manufacturer has planned to come with two versions of Mahindra Logan for 2011. The diamond, Renault badges present in the current version will be taken off however, the new version will get Mahindra's signature tooth grille.
It is also being rumoured that the second version is expected to be 4 meter long and is likely to be designed on the lines of a small car. However, in past there has been news that the hatchback has been sneaked by various onlookers. But as per the assumptions the car will hold 1.5 litre diesel mill, it is also speculated that small petrol mill is still being worked on. However, people close to the development say that it may be sourced from Nissan Micra's 1.2 litre.
Sometime back the Indian utility maker launched its long awaited Mahindra Logan CNG version in the domestic auto market. It is available on 1.4 GLE and GLX levels. Mahindra Logan 1.4 GLE CNG version is priced at Rs 6.04 lakh and Mahindra Logan GLX CNG version is available at Rs 6.33 lakh (both prices on road Mumbai).
The Indian auto company will not stop here, Mahindra soon will come with three new SUVs for its domestic auto market. A close source revealed that Mahindra & Mahindra will launch three global new SUVs which is coded as Rexton, Korando and W 201 for Ssangyong Motors. It is also expected that the SUVs will range between Rs 12 lakh to 20 lakh. The company enjoys 65 per cent of its share in utility segment which it further plans to expand. Mahindra is revamping its SUV models with advanced features to enjoy the lucrative auto market.
