Maruti Suzuki reports 15.51% sales growth in February

India's leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India has reported sales growth of 15.51% in the month of February this year. The company has sold 1 , 11 , 645 units in the month compared to sales of 96 , 650 units reported in February 2010.

 

Maruti Suzuki also posted 19.79% domestic sales growth in February at 1 , 01 , 543 units. The company had sold 84 , 765 units in the domestic market in the same month last year.  However , the company has reported exports decline of 15% to 10 , 102 units over 11 , 885 units exported in February 2010. It has seen decline in sales of its M800 model by 14.66% to 2 , 712 units in the month over sales of 3 , 178 units in February 2010. Maruti Suzuki has witnessed sales growth of  19.39% in its A2 segment cars like Alto , WagonR , Estilo , Swift , A-Star and Ritz.
