The new Italian Bull - Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

The Lamborghini Aventador is replacing the old Lamborghini Murcielago which began production in 2002. In 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago redefined the term sports car with an aggressive design  and sports credentials, the old model still just looks as good till now.But now Ferrari has taken the game; the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will compete against the recently released Ferrari 458 italia with 590 horsepower.

The Aventador uses a new 6.5 litre displacement engine which puts out 700 horsepower and 509lb-ft of torque weighing at only 1575 kilograms, thanks to its carbon fibre chassis it was able to achieve such weight. Acceleration speed have been improved from a 0-100km run in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h. The Aventador has  roomy interior combines exclusive premium materials and flawless Italian craftsmanship with advanced technology equipment. The red switch on the centre broad encloses the start button used to start the twelve-cylinder Aventador . The interior is dominated by a TFT-LCD screen using innovative display concepts; a second screen in the centre console displays multimedia and navigation information.

The LP700-4 stands for 700 horsepower and 4 stands for four wheel drive. The design element of the car captures the design from their previous limited production car “Lamborghini reventon” and the “sesto elemento “concept car. The LP700-4 is available in 13 colours and will cost US $380,000 and owners can take delivery of it late summer 2011.However rumour has it that all the cars for 2012 is sold after the car was released in Geneva auto show.
