Pulstar

Pulse plugs may look similar to spark plugs on the outside, but inside the technological advances of Pulstar are evident. Pulse plugs feature a unique capacitor-based circuit that captures energy normally wasted by spark plugs and generates a spark with 20,000 times greater energy than any spark plug.
Enerpulse, a company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico has developed a spark plug with a different technology than the current spark plug technology.
Though having the same shape and dimensions (shape and dimension is keyed to the ignition system and the existing machine) with a spark plug which is now used, but the technology it uses can increase the torque to 12% and 20% more economical.

Enerpulse accompanied by Sandia National Laboratories, Pulstar pulse plugs, so the product is called, produces power 20,000 times greater than the spark plugs are now widely used. Spark plug technology is now only produces 50 watts, while Pulstar produce 1 million watts. The amount is more than enough to completely burn all the fuel in the engine combustion chamber.
According Enerpulse, that big power will not damage the engine. Pulstar only produce 1 million watts for 2 nanoseconds. A very short time is enough to burn fuel in the engine combustion chamber and is too short to make the engine block or other engine components bear the excessive heat.
Pulstar have different working principles when compared to ordinary spark plugs. In the ordinary spark plugs, a lot of wasted energy into heat during the process of ionization elektrodenya. This means that the leap sparks will not be formed during the voltage between the tip elektrodenya not sufficient to create a spark, and consequently a lot of wasted energy.
While Pulstar works by gathering energy in a resistor. If the voltage that will be used to make sparks sufficient, then the energy will pass through the resistor and instantly becoming a spark appears between the tip elektrodenya.
